Appearing on The Rich Eisen Show, Gunther detailed losing approximately 60 pounds around the time he was called up to the WWE main roster. Gunther said he’s since gained a little bit of that back and now feels like he’s found where he’s supposed to be with his weight.
John Cena has his final opponent. After a yearlong retirement tour and a 16-man tournament to decide who he would stand across from in his finale, it is complete. Gunther will be the man who gets the chance to retire one of the legends of the industry at Saturday Night's Main Event on Dec. 13.

GUNTHER, LA Knight Advance To Finals Of Last Time Is Now Tournament On WWE Raw
Knight defeated Jey Uso in the first semi-final bout of the night, stealing the victory from beneath his opponent when all was said and done. Uso kicked out of a Burning Hammer before Knight kicked out a spear, leaving both men laying in the middle of the ring.
GUNTHER has a message for his critics. John Cena’s final match is set for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, where the 17-time WWE World Champion will face GUNTHER in the last bout of his storied career.

Toward that end, they sent Der Ring General to spend the morning with their partners over at ESPN. Gunther visited with the First Take team on Weds., Dec. 10. I’ve enjoyed the guy since he was a lot heavier and went by WALTER, so my positive review odd his appearance probably won’t sway you. You can watch the appearance in full above.
