A few days before the Alabama Crimson Tide looks to return to the top of the college football world, they received positive news about an addition to their program.

Kalen DeBoer, thought to be one of the main contenders for the open Michigan football coaching gig, has seemingly removed his name from consideration.

“I put a statement out yesterday,” DeBoer said. “I just, first of all, our guys handle distractions phenomenally. It’s been that way all season long. They continue to do that.
