After a tumultuous November in which Steelers fans actually chanted "Fire Tomlin' at Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh is back in control of their destiny and rallying around their polarizing head coach.
Tomlin said he didn’t know when Watt began feeling discomfort. The head coach also said he didn’t believe Watt was dealing with an injury during or after the game that would have put him on the injury report. "I know he was in the cafeteria at one point and that's kind of when I got wind of it,” Tomlin said.
The Pittsburgh Steelers turned down the noise surrounding coach Mike Tomlin's job status with a 27-22 win in Baltimore.
“Man, I’ve been on the hot seat for 19 years,“ he said with a deadpanned look. Tomlin was then asked if he felt he had something to prove to the fans last week, to which he replied, “I always feel like I have something to prove. Not necessarily to anyone in particular, but that’s just the spirit in which I go about what I do professionally.”
A team source told FOX Sports' Ralph Vacchiano there's "virtually no chance" the Steelers will fire Mike Tomlin. But a lone win over the Ravens won't be enough to quell hot seat talk as the team has to make a decision on his 2027 option soon.

“Man, I’ve been in the hot seat for 19 years,” Tomlin said. “I always feel like I got something to prove. Not necessarily to anyone in particular, but that’s just the spirit in which I go about what I do professionally.”
