We are getting closer and closer to the business end of the NFL season, which means there are only a few months until the 2026 Draft takes place. As such, the NFL Draft order will only continue to be of greater interest to teams who are in the running to own the first pick
The Browns hold the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Titans fell to the second pick, and the New York Giants now hold the top pick in the draft. Thanks to the Saints defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Browns leapfrogged them in the draft order. That is not the Browns' only first round pick in this upcoming April's draft, however.
The Tennessee Titans won on Dec. 7 against the Cleveland Browns to fall out of top spot in the projected 2026 NFL Draft order.
The Giants finally are No. 1 in something: the NFL Draft order. Joe Schoen’s Giants (2-11) would hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft if the season ended now after Week 14 of the 2025 season. They hold that spot over the No. 2 Raiders (2-11) and No. 3 Titans (2-11) at the moment due to the Giants’ easier strength of schedule to date.
Jon Gruden saw it coming. The ex-NFL coach warned Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart about his “reckless” style of play ahead of the NFL Draft, comparing him to daredevil Evil Knievel and telling him he needed to change his ways once he got to the NFL.
Week 14 in the NFL had some big upsets, some blowouts, and changes in the standings. There is a new team atop the NFC standings, division races have gotten closer, and we could be in for an amazing finish to the season.
