Sheinelle Jones’s 16-year-old son, Kayin, quickly spotted an unexpected perk of her new role co-hosting the fourth hour of TODAY with Jenna Bush Hager. For as long as he can remember, Kayin’s mother has worked in morning television, slipping out in the dark well before he and his 13-year-old twin siblings, Clara and Uche, were awake.
Jones, 47, was born in Philadelphia. She attended Northwestern University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in journalism and met her late husband, Uche Ojeh.
The "TODAY" show announced on Tuesday that Sheinelle Jones will co-host the fourth hour of the network’s flagship morning show alongside Jenna Bush Hager. Bush Hager said that Jones, 47, will join her on the newly named TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle.
