Selection Sunday is here at last, and the Oklahoma Sooners have learned their path for the College Football Playoff.
The College Football Playoff bracket was revealed Sunday, and Nick Saban wasn’t happy to see Notre Dame be the first team out in favor of Group of 5 programs Tulane and James Madison, which earned guaranteed berths in the 12-team bracket as two of the top-five ranked conference winners.
Miami overtook Notre Dame for the final spot despite neither team playing this week. The final two spots went to conference champions: No. 11 Tulane (American) and No. 12 James Madison (Sun Belt). That leaves ACC champion Duke out of the field because it was unranked compared to Tulane and JMU.
