Texas A&M coach Mike Elko and the Aggies aren't content to simply reach the College Football Playoff for the first time ahead of their debut against Miami.

Quarterback Carson Beck made his intentions about this Miami Hurricanes team known right from the start. “The goal is to win championships,” Beck said at the team’s media day before the start of fall camp.

Nothing more really needed to be said. What Beck — a member of two national championship teams at Georgia — meant was clear. He chose Miami as the transfer destination for his final season of college football because he wanted to compete for another national title.
