Hundreds of protesters descended on a Target store in Seattle on Friday, demanding the retailer cut ties with federal immigration enforcement.
Protesters in Seattle's Hiawatha Playfield on Saturday decried the killing of a man by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis, while more gatherings are planned in Seattle.
More protests are expected to follow in western Washington. On Saturday, several “Abolish ICE – Justice For Good” protests are scheduled in the area, including in Seattle, Renton, and Lynnwood. A full list of protests in western Washington can be found here.

Organizers say the rally will gather on the sidewalk in front of Union Station at 1717 Pacific Ave, running from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday. According to The News Tribune, the protest is explicitly "in honor of Alex Pretti and Renée Good" and is intended as a show of solidarity with immigrant communities.
A demonstration was blocking traffic in downtown Seattle, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) reported at 5 p.m. Monday. However, SDOT announced around 6:45 p.m. that demonstrators had cleared out. The gathering appeared to be an “ICE Out for Good” protest headed to the Federal Building, as posted online.
