Wintry conditions sweep across the U.S., producing below-average temperatures, winter weather watches and flood watches.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory from midnight to 9 a.m. Sunday as the area could see between 3 to 5 inches of snow.

The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 6:04 a.m. on Wednesday in effect until 6 p.m. for Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.

At 8:44 a.m. EST on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in effect until 4 p.m. EST for Livingston, Oakland and Macomb counties.

Areas north of Interstate 80 are under a winter weather advisory for Wednesday because they could get 2 to 4 inches of snow.

On Wednesday at 2:05 a.m. the National Weather Service released an updated winter weather advisory valid from 10 a.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for Cambria and Somerset counties.
