Joseph Woll will finally be back in the Toronto Maple Leafs’ crease tonight, marking his first start since December 4. Head coach Craig Berube confirmed the news, giving the Leafs a much-needed lift as they look to steady their season.
Chicago Blackhawks defenceman Artyom Levshunov will sit out Tuesday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs as a healthy scratch.
“Great to have him back,” Berube said, per Anna Dua, announcing Woll will dress and play Tuesday against the Blackhawks. The return ends a four-game absence for the goaltender, who left the Dec. 4 game against Carolina after the second period with a lower-body injury.
