After completing two seasons with Auburn, Chalea Clemmons announced on Instagram that she is medically retiring from the sport. “After much prayer and consideration, I have decided to medically retire from softball,” Clemmons wrote in the post.
According to a report on Saturday, Auburn will decline any potential bowl invite after finishing the season 5-7.
New Auburn head coach Alex Golesh told reporters on Monday that he spent most of his first week on the job meeting with players individually. That’s a priority for any new head coach, but especially now with many players having no shortage of opportunities in the transfer portal.
