On Monday (December 8), a 24-hour yellow weather warning for rain comes into effect at 6pm affecting parts of Wales, South West England and London and South East England until 6pm on Tuesday (December 9). Met Office has warned: "Heavy rain may bring some flooding and travel disruption in places on Monday night into Tuesday."

The Met Office has issued weather warnings for Scotland, Wales and southwest England as Storm Bram brings heavy rainfall and strong winds to parts of the UK.

The Met Office warns that Storm Bram could bring gusts of up to 90mph in the worst-affected areas, with large waves, flying debris and fast-flowing floodwater all posing risks to the public.
