Boston 25 News reporter Bob Ward joins NewsNation as a jury deliberates the fate of Brian Walshe, charged with murdering his wife, Ana, after nearly three years in jail without bail. Jurors deliberated for nearly four hours Friday before breaking for the weekend and will resume Monday.
The jury has begun deliberations after closing arguments were delivered Friday in the murder trial of Brian Walshe, a father of three accused of killing and dismembering his wife.
The last witness to see Ana Walshe alive emotionally recounted her final night — a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Massachusetts home she shared with her husband Brian Walshe – who is on trial for her murder. He also recounted Brian Walshe’s cold-blooded response when he called and revealed Ana was missing.
The probate court case alleges Walshe, who had been disinherited by his father, destroyed the will and took control of his estate.
