Jeff Kent would go on to play six total seasons with the Giants, the last one ending with the fateful "game ball" heartbreaker of a World Series in 2002. After that, he moved on, first to Houston and then (gasp) to the Dodgers for the remainder of his career. Kent retired in 2008 after 17 productive and mustachioed years in the majors.
