A former teacher and coach at a North Texas charter school was arrested and charged with child grooming, police say.

A 32-year-old Crandall man and former teacher/coach in Mesquite schools was arrested last week on a child grooming charge.

Police said on Oct. 2, they received a report of a possible child grooming case at the Christian Center of Mesquite.
