Beating the Dolphins on Monday night will allow the Steelers to hold onto a one-game lead in the AFC North and No. 4 playoff spot. If they lose, both Pittsburgh and the Ravens would be 7–7, but the Steelers would retain first place due to their 27–22 win over Baltimore on Dec. 7.

After missing Thursday's practice, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was back on Friday and should play vs the Steelers on Sunday.

“I think we kind of have mentioned how we have to play better at home," safety Alohi Gilman said. “It’s not a big jump, it’s just little things here and there. That’s not a question of our character, culture or identity. It’s just a matter of executing on a high level, on a more consistent basis.”
