Alabama football didn’t make it easy on the College Football Playoff selection committee. However, Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide can breathe a sigh of relief on Sunday, as the committee opted to put UA in the final playoff field, the day after an embarrassing loss to Georgia in the SEC championship game.

For whatever reason, Kalen DeBoer continues to be a major name in coaching discussions. But with a College Football Playoff game against Oklahoma on the horizon, there's bigger fish to fry.
