Patriots quarterback Drake Maye commented on Philip Rivers' return and whether he wants to still be playing football at age 44.

Old man Rivers might still have some juice, but he's also facing one of the best defensive units to come along in years.

"It's almost like a slap to my face," Newton said on his 4th&1 podcast. Some have defended Rivers' signing because he has history with Shane Steichen and his offensive scheme, but Newton isn't hearing any of that.

Indianapolis looked lifeless after their loss Sunday but Rivers' return seems to have reenergized the locker room. At least for now.
