Two storms moving through the Midwest and Northeast are being supercharged by a system on the West Coast. Blizzard warnings are in effect in West Virginia.
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Snow has begun falling in West Virginia as much of the state braces for a winter storm lasting until Sunday. Usually, it’s not advised that you drive anywhere during a weather event like this if you can avoid it, but sometimes you may not have a choice.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The National Weather Service has posted both a winter weather advisory and winter storm watch for West Virginia counties for Friday into the weekend. The advisory began late Friday night and covers mainly southern counties through 1 p.m. Friday.
After a weekend of snow in the Midwest, the winter weather is focused farther south on Monday, with snow hitting Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.
