Hilton has announced a big shake-up of its Hilton Honors loyalty scheme. This is the biggest change to the programme for some years and it is, perhaps surprisingly, totally positive. From 1st January 2026, Hilton is slashing the targets for earning Silver, Gold and Diamond status. This is what you will need to earn in 2026 for 2027 qualification: Diamond For 2026: 60 nights, 30 stays or 120,000 base points For 2027 onwards: 50 nights, 25 stays or $11,500 in pre-tax spend Gold For 2026: 40 nights
