This Razorbill, a rare visitor to Ontario, thrilled crowds of birders who came to Leslie Lookout Park, in Toronto earlier this month. The razorbill is a seabird in the Alcida family, which includes Auks, Murres and Puffins. Like many birds during migration, this one veered off course on its way to winder off the on the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of the northwestern US and Canada.
