I was fired from Target after a coworker who wanted my position told management that I had attended a protest against ICE. I found out later what really happened. This coworker had been trying to move up for months. When that didn’t work, they went to my manager and claimed I had gone to an anti ICE protest and that it made me a “liability” to the store.
