How the Moon affects the tides! While we know we need the sun, did you know that without the moon we also wouldn’t have life here on earth? Without the moon, we wouldn’t have tides, the churning of the oceans. (There’s a great Vedic myth on that.) Without the moon we wouldn’t have the magnetic shield, and without that, no atmosphere! We wouldn’t have the pull of groundwater to the surface to sprout new seeds… And how would we get our monthly howl on? In fact, what would we call a month? Or Monda
